DTN COMMENTS: The country is slow to start this morning, packer inquiry 
should start to improve as the day progresses. Having said that it is 
possible that significant trade volume may be delayed until after today's on 
feed report. Asking prices are around $122 to $124 in the South, and $202 to 
$204 in the North. Beef cutouts are expected to be mixed with light to 
moderate box movement.

So far this week light to moderate dressed business has been reported in the 
North at $197 to $202, mostly $197, $1 higher than last week's weighted 
averages. Southern live deals have been few and far between at $120 to $126, 
mostly $122 about steady with last week's weighted averages.
